ST Agnes’ GAC – Belfast City Marathon 2012
To purchase a defibrillator to be stored permanently at Woodlands
Dear Member
St Agnes GAC have entered two teams into this year’s Belfast City Marathon on Monday 7th May 2012 to try and raise funds to purchase a defibrillator to be stored permanently at Woodlands for our use. Throughout the week we have over 100 members of all ages using our facilities at Woodlands and we know that defibrillators can save lives. Therefore we want to ensure that should the need ever arise that we are in a position to act and to that end we have 14 members of the club currently trained to use defibrillators.
We are trying to raise the funds to make this happen and we need your help. We want you to help raise a minimum of £30 for this great cause and help your club.
Sponsor forms are being distributed, and are available to download from the website, (SEE DOCUMENTS SECTION) and we are setting up an online donation page. We are also accepting any quality used clothing that you can provide as each black bag donated can be changed into cash for this cause. We will be at Woodlands on Saturday 5th May to collect any sponsor money raised and any bags of clothes that you have ready to be collected. We will be there from 10am -12pm.For senior players sponsor money can also be returned to training to either Declan Crummey or John Morgan.
This is an ambitious project and we want to make this happen. With your help we will.
Naomh Úna abu!
